Darvelle Smith

Darvelle joined HDC in 2023 as an Assistant Project Manager. He works closely with the team on all aspects of a project from marketing to closeout activities. Responsibilities include maintaining daily communication with team members, supporting with the procurement of vendors, and assisting with the administration of project schedules, budgets and reporting.

His experience as a project and field engineer has equipped him with skills and knowledge that are assets to our clients.

Darvelle earned a B.S. in Sociology from Tuskegee University and a B.S. in Construction Management from Alabama A&M University.

In college, Darvelle was a track captain and hurdler, as well as an Ambassador in the Engineering and Science Department. His hobbies include traveling, hosting events with friends, and spending time with his dog Afuro.
